Girls Roadtrip to Find #EqualCanada @McD_Canada #cbias

A good friend of mine, @SoberJulie, was celebrating her 1 year blogaversary with a tweetup on Saturday!  So, @shasherslife and daughter, @purplegal78 and myself, planned a trip down to join in and celebrate (and socialize) Julies big accomplishment.

After the party we headed out shopping at a store closeby and realized that shopping can make ya hungry!! So we decided to stop at McD's on the way home. 

We stopped at the Milton location, just off the highway.  It is a really nice restaurant with the updated McCafe type seating and the fireplaces:-)  Very nicely kept and the staff were amazing!  They were all smiling and seemed genuinely happy to be there.

We ordered our meals, chicken nuggets, bacon cheeseburger, happy meal etc..and sat down to enjoy the break from driving, partying and shopping.

Even though we didn't order any coffee or tea, I still asked about their sweeteners. 

They only provide one sweetener brand, and it was not Equal.  We mentioned that it would be nice to see a few more selections.

Shash's dauther LOVED her hello kitty toy...she even brought it to church today:-) (and I told her I was going to blog about her, so I did!!)

I know that Shash is loving the McCafe drinks right now...she seems to be there all the time;-)  So, it seemed appropriate that her tray paper was the McCafe one...

We couldn't find any comment cards at this location, so instead I went to fill out the online survey.  I didn't get a chance to mention the desire to see Equal as one of their selections, so I plan on phoning the general inquiry line tomorrow during business hours to mention it to them.
