KINDER Canada $200 Basket Giveaway!!

With 5 kids, all various ages, I have done a lot of things to keep my kids occupied with fun activities.

One of my favourite things to do is have a "Kids in the Kitchen" cooking class with them.  Call me crazy, but I love to invite their friends over and create a meal that they can bring home to share with their families...maybe I am crazy?



These pics are from a few years back, we made a Pizza Casserole.  My girls always get along when they cook, which makes it even more fun!!

Hope and Grace loved breaking the eggs and stirring them afterwards (and after they picked the egg shells out of the bowl first;-)

Each of the kids had a job to do, one did the cheese grating, one ripped the bread, one sliced toppings.  They were all involved! 

This was the almost final product.  All we had to do was add a can of spaghetti sauce just before cooking it.

What is especially nice about doing this kind of activity with the kids is that they enjoy eating it after.  They take pride in the finished product and it was great to share this meal with the family.

I really need to plan another cooking class with the kids again:-)  I have so much fun watching them take ownership of their meal!!
