Faith's Sleep EEG

Well, I have been pretty good at posting something here everyday.  Yesterday, however, I missed it...I seem to have come down with some kind of sinus infection...yeah.  I went to bed at 7pm last night and didn't wake up until 7am this morning...I could have slept longer too!!

So, a day late is my Wordless Wednesday

Faith had her sleep deprived EEG yesterday. It is my excuse for not blogging yesterday.  I had to wake her up at 3am and keep her awake until the test, where she should fall asleep.  However, hubby and I decided to go out to the late show and weren't home until after midnight, and Faith was still awake..until 2am...then I fell asleep and we didn't wake up until 5am.  I thought, great, I ruined the test. 

Faith was amazing, she fought for the first little bit and after I restrained her during the fighting, she totally gave in and just let them do whatever.  You can't see the wires in the pic, but there are wires hanging down the back of her head.  Faith promptly fell asleep in my arms and if I moved she would have woken up and start fighting, so I sat in the same position...nothing to lean up against, nothing to hold my arms up, for 25 minutes...my back is really sore today!! 

But they got all the results they needed.  I am glad, cause I wouldn't want to go through this again.  After the test, she then proceeded to have a full out behaviour in the main hall of the hospital, kicking, screeching, rolling around on the floor etc...until she finally fell asleep, on the floor in the hospital...I didn't even care about the stares and looks...I started commenting to the onlookers...must be naptime...just to point out that they were staring and I could see them staring:-)
