Yeah, you heard me!! I swam this week, 4 days I did laps, I was up to 50 laps for the last 3 days...I weighed in tonight...are you ready for my ginormous loss???
.2lbs...
Yeah, how exciting is that? We decided that it must be muscle, right? Go with me on this one...it was muscle...
Oh well, maybe next week will be a bigger loss since my muscles grew and will work harder this week...
On another note...
We have gone back to our budget. We are living on cash and we are going to make it work. We really are good at budgeting, but it is the sticking with it...it all looks so good on paper, now we just have to make it work in person...
We did our big shopping trip, 221.00 on food, and personal items (shampoo...I gave up the baking soda), health food items - for Faith, which really didn't cost as much as I thought, and then our food...w still need to spend about another $30 on ground beef (it is on sale at a local store) and then we are done for 2 weeks...
$250 for 2 weeks, for a family of 7 with one diet restricted child...and our personals...not too bad...
How do others make ends meet? How creative are you with money? I need some new ideas to keep this going.
let me know when you find out...lol

That's about what we spend for the 7 of us. Hubby's the shopper of the family. Make our meals based on what is on sale that week, only buy what is in season. We rarely ever ever buy already processed foods. School snacks get us at times but even there we only buy what's on sale.
ReplyDeleteWe watch the register too for mistakes by the scanner and each week get something for free, last week it was 2 racks of ribs that ended up only costing us $2 total. He was so proud, he loves a good deal!! :-)
