2. I would love to have a bigger house. I have my eyes set on a certain house outside of town (if you know where I live and want to see the listing, let me know and I will send you the link;-). It is 2300 square feet and only 5 years old. It has a nice sized property but is still close enough to neighbours. I told hubby that in 5 years, when we are financially in a better position to buy a more expensive house, that one will be up for sale again, and we will be able to buy it...;-) 3. I would love to have a cottage. Even if we just buy the property first and then build the dream cottage on it, that would be fine. We are starting to look at parcels of waterfront properties...I love to dream... 4. I would love to be able to write a book. I am starting to gain more confidence in this area. I know what I want to write about, but I just lack that courage and that risk taking that I need to accomplish it. One day I will write it... 5. I would love to be in a position to help people without worrying about money at all. It doesn't have to be financial, but could be physically, emotionally...I just love to help people and would love to be able to do it worry-free. 6. I would love to be able to organize my life more efficiently and be able to read a book...or just have some time to relax, with no worries, again with that worry thing... 7. I would love to be able to go out more frequently with hubby. More date nights... 8. I would love to adopt a child from overseas. Hubby still isn't convinced of this, but one day, who knows... 9. I would love to learn to knit, crochet, whatever, I want to make things, like baby hats and donate them to the hospital for stillborn babies and blankets for their families. 10. I want to volunteer more in my community. I guess this comes with the organizing my time well too. I would like to be more active out there and meet some new people. I really need to work on this area of my life...coming out of my shell. 11. I would love to get out of debt and stay there. We aren't as bad off as some people, but it is a lot of money still, to us. I also would like to have the house mortgage paid off and have NO DEBT at all!! 12. I would love to get to my ideal weight of 140. It is going to be a long road, I just need to discipline myself more. No junk food and smaller portions, also exercise. 13. That my kids grow up serving God and are well adjusted to the world around them. That they feel comfortable talking to us always and that they enjoy our company. What great dreams. Hope they all come true!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
Hi Ruth! I didn't realize you knew Shasher. I read about Martha, Martha, Martha at her blog too!
ReplyDeleteI checked out your Usborne book catalogue thinking I might find something appropriate for my niece and nephew for Christmas (in Canada.) They are a little older now, and I think those titles would be great for younger kids. Oh well, sorry. I'm happy you had a good time at your book party on Saturday... what a great business opportunity!
I'll be back again later.
Blessings, e-Mom :~)
I wish that all your dreams will come true!! These are all beautiful dreams!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope all your dreams come true!
ReplyDeleteThese sound very familiar. We have many of the same dreams in common. I love that you want to find more time and money to help other people, not just so you can enjoy it all yourself.
ReplyDeleteI dream of a cottage by the sea in south west Ireland ~ bliss!
ReplyDeleteGreet TT :o)
I dream of travel too. Most definitely.
ReplyDeleteI can show you how to knit/crochet. Just bring some yarn and needles to church and I'll show you while we're waiting around for our gabby hubbys.
ReplyDeleteThose are great dreams and very attainable! Just one step at a time, making wise choices with the future in mind, being faithful with the little and God will bring you much to be faithful with.
ReplyDeleteHe is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and He gives us those kinds of desires because He wants to see us enjoy life because He gets very excited when His children prosper at everything - in every area of life.
A great list! Thanks so much for sharing! May all your dreams come true!
