Thursday Thirteen - My Week Thus Far!!

Thirteen Things about this week in our home...(posting early cause I will be busy tomorrow finally canning the tomatoes!!) 1. My kids have all gotten along together remarkably well 2. Princess and Cutie Pie dressed alike today...talk about blowing my mind!! 3. We have been wanting to anchor Cutie Pie's bed to the wall, but until it happens she has been sharing a room with Princess. I really think that has a lot to do with the way they are getting along. I should have done this sooner!! 4. All 3 of the kids are enjoying our first week back to homeschooling. We have been getting a lot accomplished and no one has cried yet 5. Pooky is learning to sit and colour or enjoy a snack while I am working with the older kids, and she isn't crying for attention either 6. I have been waking up at 7am mostly every day this week 7. I have 2 neighbour kids that come in the morning for an hour before the bus. I am actually making some good money for doing this and it is not much work!! 8. My house has been kept fairly clean lately too. It has a lot to do with having daycare again, but we try to get the cleaning done before hubby gets home so we can enjoy his time without worrying about cleaning 9. We have been making our meals as a family and they have been so good and healthy 10. Cutie Pie has just blown me away with what she is retaining. She can look at numbers now and recognize what they are (thanks to Crazy Eights!!) and she is learning her letters and writing out words with very little help. I can't believe that I was going to hold her back another year cause she is a late December baby!! 11. We have a great schedule going. The kids are liking it and I like it too. We end our schoolday with all the fun stuff of a unit study, and the kids are so excited to show hubby their work every night 12. I am also happy to be going back to homeschool group again. It was nice to have those conversations with the friends that I haven't seen over the summer and to see the kids connecting again 13. I feel great. I have had such great energy and enthusiasm about everything going on in our life. I feel like I am accomplishing so much with the kids this year and it really makes me excited to see what the rest of the year is going to have to offer our family!!
