Wow, the week just zipped on by.
Wanted to let everyone know about my new renter, Life As Lou. I really enjoyed reading through her blog posts. I loved the one with the pics of the kids in the bathroom covered in white cream!! I can totally relate to that... Check her out sometime, I know I will be going back there.
I did it, I made a full checkup appt. with the Dr. I go on June 22 at 9am. I figured I may as well get it over with as soon as possible, right? I have written down a list of things that have been going on physically and emotionally and hopefully some tests will tell me what is wrong. This is a big step for me. The last time I went in for a full checkup they sent me for a CT scan. They thought that I had a prolactinoma. This is one reason why I don't like going to the dr's. I tend to worry too much about things like that!! Oh, well, it must be done...Will keep everyone updated.
This weekend is not as busy as last, and for that I am grateful. We just have hockey tonight, and hockey tomorrow. Hubby is taking 2 of the girls (Cutie Pie and Pooky) to his company picnic, Princess is off to a Sparks Camp-A-Rama, she finished all of her books from the beginning and this is the reward for that. She is nervous about going, but we keep telling her she is going to have a great time. Mr. Hockey is staying home with me. We have catalogues that he has to catch up on and then hockey at noon, then we are going to head out to a friends football game in the afternoon. Don't know when hubby will be home, but I am looking forward to a quiet day!!
Sunday we have church. It is also Father's Day, hadn't fully sunk in yet. We are doing something fun with the kids at the church, then I don't know what we are going to do afterwards. Hubby likes chinese food, but this is not a big payweek for us. Gotta make sure the bills are covered first.
Oh, right, about bills. A friend of mine popped by this week and told me how she is budgeting her money. She breaks it down like this: 10% tithe, 10% savings, 60% bills/living, 20% family fun. So I sat down with our last pays and worked our money that way. I did the 2 10%'s off the gross income and then the rest off the net income. It looked like it would work that way. I think for us though, the family fun would be cut down to 10% to start since we really need to get out of our overdraft. Interesting way of working it out and it seems to make sense.
Alright, gotta go change Pooky and put her to bed, and wake up my niece (3 months old) and change her and feed her. I have had my niece and nephew for the week now. It is going well, I forgot how much new babies sleep! It has been nice, and I haven't felt the urge to go out and have another baby, which is remarkable!!
Out...
What is this "rent my blog" thing? I'm out of the loop. Good to hear you're going to the docs and getting answers!!
